Terms of service

1. Who we are

ai-shelf (aishelf.tech) is a service of MARKAPP MEDIA LTD (“Markapp”), registered in Cyprus under company number 436282, registered office Markou Drakou 64, Plaza Court, Floor 2, Office 23, 4002 Mesa Geitonia, Limassol, Cyprus, with offices at Aisopou 6, Agios Nikolaos, 3100 Limassol, Cyprus.

2. What these terms cover

These terms apply to the ai-shelf website, the client app and the Markapp console at aishelf.tech and app.aishelf.tech, and to the reports, presentations, data and AI SEO checks we deliver through them (the “Service”).

If your company has signed an order form, proposal or agreement with Markapp, that document applies together with these terms; where they differ, the signed document prevails.

3. The Service

ai-shelf measures how AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Copilot mention and recommend a brand when asked real customer questions, compares it with competitors, and recommends actions. Questions are asked through each assistant’s official interface for developers (API). The results are a consistent measurement panel, not a copy of what any one person sees.

AI SEO checks read a page of your website the way AI crawlers do and suggest improvements.

AI assistants change often and their answers vary. We report what they answered on the dates shown; we do not control them and cannot guarantee how they will describe or rank any brand.

4. Accounts

Accounts are created by Markapp by invitation. Each person uses their own account and keeps their password confidential. Tell us at once if you believe your account has been used without permission.

Client admins may invite colleagues from their company. You are responsible for the people you invite and for removing access when someone leaves.

5. Packages, runs and payment

Reports (runs), additional AI assistants and AI SEO checks are provided within the package your company has bought. No run starts without a paid run in the package. Prices, payment terms and what each package includes are set in the order form or proposal. Requests sent from the app are requests, not orders: Markapp confirms scope and price before anything is charged or run.

6. Your content and permissions

You confirm that you may ask us to analyse the brands, competitors, markets and website pages you give us, and that the pages you submit for AI SEO checks are publicly available pages of your own or your client’s website.

Do not submit personal data, confidential information or anything you are not allowed to share in request messages, focus fields or other free text.

7. Acceptable use

You will not: share your account; scrape, copy or resell the Service or its data; reverse engineer it; probe or disrupt its security; use it to submit pages you have no right to analyse; or use it for anything unlawful or misleading.

8. Intellectual property

Markapp owns the Service, its software, methods, indices, designs and trademarks (including ai-shelf, Markapp, Harion, Pantheon and Markdash).

Reports, presentations and data delivered to your company are licensed to it for its internal business use and for sharing with its agencies and advisers. Published indices may be quoted with attribution to “ai-shelf by Markapp”.

Quotes from AI answers remain subject to the terms of the assistant that produced them.

9. Confidentiality

Each party keeps the other’s non-public business information confidential and uses it only for the Service. This does not cover information that is public, already known, or required to be disclosed by law.

10. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available and secure but do not promise uninterrupted access. We may improve or change features; we will not reduce what a paid package includes during its term without your agreement.

11. Connectors for AI assistants

You may connect your ai-shelf account to an AI assistant that supports the Model Context Protocol, such as Claude or ChatGPT, through the ai-shelf connector (see the connector guide). The connector signs in with your own ai-shelf account and shows only what that account may see in the app.

Requests sent through the connector (a new run, more AI assistants, an AI SEO check) are requests, not orders, exactly as in the app: Markapp confirms scope and price before anything is charged or run.

Your use of the AI assistant itself is governed by its provider’s terms. The assistant may summarise or rephrase ai-shelf results; the results as published in the app and reports are the reference. Connect only accounts you are allowed to use, and disconnect the connector when someone leaves.

12. Liability

The Service provides measurement and recommendations; decisions about your marketing, content and media remain yours. To the extent the law allows, Markapp is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or revenue, and Markapp’s total liability for any claim is limited to the fees your company paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Suspension and ending

We may suspend access that breaches these terms or puts the Service at risk. Your company may stop using the Service at any time; fees already due remain payable. On request after the end of the relationship we delete or return your company’s data as described in the Privacy policy.

14. Law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. The courts of Limassol, Cyprus have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory rights you have where you are based.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; material changes are announced in the app or by email before they apply.
